Vigil -True Colours: LGBTIQASB+ Remembrance Candlelight Vigil and Morning Swim of Renewal and Queer Joy

The OHA Rainbow Group will continue this tradition for the second year. We will continue at each forum until heteropatriarchal abuse of our community ends, globally.

We welcome you to gather to remember those that have been ‘lost’ and celebrate the fighters; the lovers and survivors of LGBTIQASB+ oppression and fear.

All are welcome to join us on a musical walk where valued songs will be experienced and savoured as we gather around the fire and walk. We will end with a celebratory ocean dip and beach fire. Bring comfy shoes, swimmers (if you wish to swim) and an open heart.

Indigenous ways of knowing and being provide insights into the continuing wisdom of indigenous health practices and our interdependence with the natural world.

Outdoor Health Australia (OHA) acknowledges the aboriginal and Torres Strait islander peoples as the first inhabitants of the lands now called Australia, and acknowledge Traditional Custodians, where we live, learn and work.

Held on the lands of the Bundjalung Nation, OHA national forums are Aboriginal-informed and supported.
