With over thirty years of experience in Aboriginal education, Delta has supported generations of young people to grow as strong, resilient, and unique individuals. She is passionate about connecting people to Country and fostering understanding through culturally rich school programs and eco-tourism walks.

As the founder of Explore Byron Bay and a member of Country as Teacher, Delta weaves cultural knowledge with environmental care to help both locals and visitors build meaningful relationships with place. Her belief in the power of education to build cultural awareness, respect, and shared responsibility lies at the heart of her work.

Delta also serves as an elected Greens councillor on Byron Shire Council, where she continues her advocacy for sustainable, inclusive leadership rooted in Aboriginal ways of knowing and caring for Country.
