Venue & surrounds

The 2025 Outdoor Health Forum is located at Lake Ainsworth Sport & Recreation Centre, Northern End Pacific Parade, Lennox Head NSW 2478, on the East coast of Northern New South Wales, 15 minutes from Ballina Airport and 1 hour from Coolangatta Airport. The venue is about xxx from the nearest town Lennox Head, where you will find xxx (describe the area).

Spring Beach is a small coastal village on the East Coast of Tasmania where people enjoy the sea and the views of nearby iconic Maria Island. Surrounded by rolling hills and lush greenery, this idyllic destination is a perfect blend of nature’s beauty and coastal charm and perfect backdrop to the Outdoor Health Forum 2024. The area is home to boutique distilleries and wineries some within walking distance.

 

Orford is a small well equipped town, with an IGA, a couple of cafes, accommodation options and is skirted by the gorgeous Prosser River. Several kilometres down the road is Triabunna, with its scenic coastal waterways.  

 

While in the area, perhaps plan some extra time in Tassie to explore the nearby Maria Island National Park, a sanctuary for diverse flora and fauna, offering scenic hikes and wildlife encounters, or perhaps visit Freycinet National Park with hikes, swimming, camping, and sightseeing a plenty only 1.5 hours drive away!

The closest airport to Lennox Head is Ballina Byron Gateway Airport (BNK)

via Taxi:

Once you arrive at Ballina Byron Gateway Airport (BNK), the most convenient option is to take a taxi to Lake Ainsworth.

via Bus:

Alternatively, you can catch the 640 bus from Southern Cross Drive at Ballina Byron Gateway Airport (BNK), which takes approximately 50 minutes total. Travel to Ross St opposite Lennox Head Holiday Park and then walk 410 metres to the Lake Ainsworth Sport & Recreation Centre.
